Program in Political Science 2010-2013
We are now accepting applications for the next postgraduate program in political science, which will start on 1 October 2010.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in political science or other disciplines relevant to the program. Degrees should be received by October 2010. Excellent command of the English language is essential since the working language of the program is English. Above all, interested candidates will have to demonstrate that they are willing and able to embark upon a PhD project on a topic related to the theme of the program.

The Vienna PhD School of Informatics is an international PhD School, funded by the Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna), the City of Vienna and private sponsors. PhD students for this full-time programme are recruited world-wide, all courses are held in English.
The call for applications for the study year 2010/11 is now open.
The PhD School is located at TU Vienna and admits Austrian as well as international students annually. TU Vienna invites applications for a maximum of 15 PhD scholarships per year. The first study year of the PhD School started in October 2009. No tuition fees have to be paid by these holders of scholarships. (more…)

Admission requirements
Our target group are excellent students from all disciplines of natural and life sciences and medicine who are motivated to pursue their scientific career in an international research environment. The candidates must hold, or be close to obtaining, an undergraduate degree equivalent to a Master, which would enable them to enter a PhD Program in their own country. In general, applicants should not be older than 30 when they apply, although career breaks will be taken into account.
