This includes, but is not restricted to, models that describe loads or the material and structural behavior of systems in structural engineering. The research training group “Evaluation of Coupled Numerical Partial Models in Structural Engineering” is offering 10 positions for doctoral students for its second project phase. We are looking for inspired and dedicated individuals who are interested in doing research work in the multi-faceted field of structural engineering.

Phd/Doctoral position in Biological sciences at ZMBP Tübingen

A phD position will be available on 1st of July 2011 within the Dept. of Plant Biochemistry at the Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen, Germany.

Our research focuses on pathogen perception and host cell-reprogramming by microbial factors in the model plant Arabidopsis. The aim of the project will consist to combine biochemical and molecular approaches to understand the role in planta of Avr2, an effector from Phytophthora infestans, the causal agent of potato late blight.
