The project is supported by a grant from the Danish National High-technology Foundation. The project involves collaboration with other academic groups and two companies.

The successful candidate will use biophysical methods to characterize supported lipid membranes and lipid-protein interactions in order to optimize artificial membranes that can be exploited to produce ultra-pure water.

Candidates in physics, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and biophysics are encouraged to apply.
