The School of Management and Languages at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh is now inviting applications for full-time PhD scholarships in the areas of Accountancy, Finance and Economics. We welcome applications from all areas of study.
Business Management: Whilst we welcome applications from all fields of study, we are particularly interested in receiving proposals in the following areas: Creativity and Enterprise, Work and Wellbeing (Organization Studies/HRM), Sustainability and Consumer Behaviour.

The Department of Finance at the Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a number of vacant PhD scholarships within the field of financial risk management. The area is meant to be interpreted broadly and research proposals could, for example, address issues such as financial risk management in financial institutions (e. g. banks, insurance companies, mortgage institutions, pension funds), regulation of financial markets and institutions, derivative pricing and hedging, credit risk modelling, sovereign risk, the link between financial markets and the macro-economy, portfolio management, asset allocation, capital structure and financial econometrics.
The successful applicant must have a record of top grades from previously completed programmes. Priority will be given to candidates who have both a strong quantitative background and previous training in financial economics.
