Scholarship funds amount to NOK 1.000.000, – (approx. Euro 125.000,-/US Dollars 150.000,-) will be awarded to Ibsen-related projects worldwide.
The International Ibsen Scholarships were initiated by the Norwegian government and will be awarded for the third time in 2010. We solicit relevant applications, from projects throughout the world.
The scholarships are meant to act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen, and are applicable to individuals, organizations and institutions within the artistic and cultural communities. The applications are subject to scrutiny by an appointed jury.
Previous years, projects from Asia, North-America, Europe, Africa and Australia have received scholarships.

BI Norwegian School of Management offers a four year Ph.D. programme in business administration. The programme features six areas of specialisation: Finance, Economics, Strategic Management, Marketing, Leadership and Organization in addition to Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We are pleased to announce seven Ph.D. Research Scholarship positions available for two of the areas of specialisation. One of the scholarship positions is funded through NFR. At The Department of Physics, NTNU there is vacant one post doctor position within the project “Responsive (bio)polymer matrices as Fabry-Perot cavities: A versatile platform for development of nanostructured (bio)polymer materials”, funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The position is in the biopolymer physics/bionanotechnology research field, conducted within the Division of Biophysics and Medical Technology at the Department. The project involves cooperation with the research group NOBIPOL at Department of Biotechnology, and will also be carried out in collaboration with international research groups in Grenoble and Tokyo. The post doctor will be appointed for a period of 3 years. The position is related to the national research school “Nanotechnology for microsystems”. The position is organized at Department of Physics. Currently, there are 30 professors, 9 associate professors, 6 adjunct professors, 55 PhD research fellows and 19 postdoctoral positions appointed at the Department.
