Services, consumer behaviour and CRM are strong interests for the Marketing Department at Oxford Brookes. Consumer satisfaction, service quality, branding of services, channel choice and management, customer relationship management and customer loyalty, are just some aspects of current research activity. Some of this research links with the Department’s strong interests in retailing management and retail marketing. We encourage applications into these areas of consumer behaviour and services marketing.

Applicants are welcome from a background in social psychology as well as from business studies.

Applicants should have a good Honours degree with 2:1 and normally a masters degree within a relevant discipline. Applicants who have a masters degree in social psychology and politics are welcomed.

The full-time studentship, which includes an element for teaching will be for 3 years, subject to satisfactory progress. The bursary will be £20,000 pa plus student fees.
